The memorandum of understanding on creating the Moldova International Stock Exchange is signed at Moldova Business Week 2025.
The Government approves the creation of the joint-stock company
The Government of the Republic of Moldova approves the creation of the joint-stock company that will operate the new exchange.
Official registration with the Public Services Agency
Moldova International Stock Exchange S.A. is officially registered as a legal entity with the Public Services Agency.
The CNPF registers the founding share issue
The National Commission for Financial Markets registers the share issue placed at the company's incorporation.
Market operator licence obtained from the CNPF
The CNPF grants BIMx the market operator licence and the authorisations for the Regulated Market and the multilateral trading facility (CNPF Decision No. 42/3).
Admission of brokers and issuers opens
Investment firms can apply for exchange membership, and issuers can apply for the admission of their securities to trading.
ARENA, the BIMx trading system, goes live
The ARENA trading platform, developed by the Bucharest Stock Exchange, becomes operational for admitted members.
First listing and first trading session
The first listing on BIMx is planned by the end of 2026. Trading sessions start after the first listing.
